| I remember seeing a white Austin A55 Mk II Countryman estate in Charlottesville, VA about 20 years ago, in good running condition with practically no rust, for $1200. Granted, there's been some inflation since then, but even at the time, that was cheap. I liked it, but in the late '80s, these cars - especially estate body styles - seemed like a pretty silly investment. Yikes! About six months later, I found the same car, now in Minneapolis Minnesota, for sale again for $2400. Where, oh where, is the "undo" button on the calendar! FWIW, Allen |
