| I have found some Farina accessory parts should anyone want them. It is BMC part number 27H9882, which is visible in the Magnette Accessory brochure for Mk III and Mk IVs What they do is allow you to put a Desmo Boomerang fender mirror directly on the top of the fender peak as it was intended by BMC, rather than the more common but incorrect method of sticking the mirror in the side of the fender. The underside of the escutcheon matches the shape of the top of the fender. You can get reproduction Desmo Boomerangs from any supplier and sometimes real ones show up on eBay too. I have 11 of these escutcheon to pass along, new and mint in BMC boxes. They will be $5.50 each, plus $4.40 shipping no matter how many you want... so a pair would be $15.40 and I would break even.
