MG MG Farina Magnette - Valve timing Austin A60

| I have a 1961 MGA with an Austin Cambridge engine, No 16AMW-U-H 4185. It is 1622 cc, and dated 1961 on the block. I am researching converting this into a 1622 MkII engine. Bore and stroke are the same. It has he MGA head and carbs. I am thinking of fitting the MkII cam, but first would like to know what I have now in the way of timing and lift. I could measure it of course but it takes time to set that up. If anyone out there has a shop manual for the Cambridge, could you please look up the cam timing for me ? Any other help with this conversion would be welcomed! Art |
