MG MG Farina Magnette - What Size Tyres ?

I need to replace the tyres on my Farina Magnette - currently fitted with 590 x 14 crossplys.

What size do I go for in a modern tyre?

I dont want the tyres to too wide and want them to look fairly original size wise.

155 or 165 or 175 width?

65 or 70 or 80 aspect ratio?

Will a 65 aspect ratio make the tyres too small re its rolling radius and changes to gearing/speedo etc.

Thanks

If you want to keep your Magnette with the original tyres, here in Argentina we still have that size of tires, 5.90x14. Large sizes affect the steering gear.

I bought them for my Morris 1966(A60 in England).

If you need assitance please let me know.
